Put Down My Deposit

Guess what, guys? Went to the Bird Farm today. And....put down my deposit! Check it out! They are four-five weeks old now. They should be ready in about two months.

Thanks everyone! It's gonna be a hard two months of working but it will be worth it. I am brainstorming names. I will likely pick a boy if there is a boy available, I really like the name Jack. But I am open to other suggestions, if any of you have any!

Yeah, the price is a little ridiculous. But my last grey from the Bird Farm was just amazing, and I know I'm buying from a good place. And this way I can see him while he's being weaned whenever I want to.

Is it? I thought greys were always in the $1000s.

Just replying to what eduardo said. When I bought my baby grey last time he was only $1000. This guy is now $1250.

My name suggestion if you get a little boy bird, and bearing in mind his origin, would be "Madiba" in memory of the late Nelson Mandella, who just happens to be a hero of mine.

Cheers,

John.

It's great you've finally been able to find a bird that will suit your lifestyle, I've always said that greys would be your best bet. I know you were let down the last time you placed a deposit on one but this time hopefully things work out

I really do agree that greys seem to fit my lifestyle. I think they are great birds. I haven't started shopping for him quite yet but I can't wait to!
