Such a beautiful bird, I absolutely loves Galahs but don't think I could have one of my own. I love seeing pictures of other people's though!

I just don't think I could provide the right home for a Cockatoo. I have a 2 year old Son who I would always be paranoid about getting bitten and they seem like they need WAY too much attention than I can give right now. My Son takes up all of my time, hence why I only have Reptiles and Cats right now, ha.

Well, that's a good reason!
Maybe when he's older and in school, though, you could consider it. Galahs are not generally as needy as other 'toos, though it very much depends on the bird and how they're raised.

I probably will consider it, lol. An African Grey (Timneh) is my dream bird though so I'll definitely be getting one of them once we're in a larger house!

I have heard of greys and galahs being friends, actually, especially if they are raised together. They're about the same size and have similar social/flock structure, so maybe that's why they're somewhat compatible. I would recommend a female galah over a male...males can get a bit crazy once hormones hit.

Yeah I've seen photos of Galahs and Greys together, it's quite cute! And thanks for the tip, I would have thought it'd be the Females that went bonkers, ha.
