Well it looks like my suggestion of Madiba is out.

What about one of these names for starters:
Adamma, African for "beautiful girl",
Akila, African for "most beautiful",
Shakina, African for "Beautiful one",
or Zene, African for "Beautiful".

Cheers,

John.

Congrats on your baby girl! What about Karma! I used it for my female linnie, perfect for her. P.S My hubby said he likes the name Kalinda!

Yay, girls are so fun, now you have one boy and one girl...that's perfect . So I started thinking, ag's are known for their intelligence. So I googled names meaning smart and intelligent.

Both of these mean 'bright', got them when I googled smart, lol:
Lainey
Siria

Upon googling intelligent:
Kaya
Sage
Sophia

Then clever came up, so I clicked on that:
Portia
Penelope

Then came alert:
Kacie

Lol. That's what happens when you google.

Yay, a girl! Sophia is a pretty name (Sophie for short?). I still like Gemma, too. Or Jack.

I don't like Jack for a girl. I was really liking the name Layla.

When you are with your baby does she "look like a Layla"? I come up with names while spending time and looking at my baby. For instance my hubby thought of the name Lucy for my creamino linnie, and I agreed. But when I actually had her on the hour drive home she just didn't look like a "Lucy" to me at all. The name Karma popped into mind and stuck! I did have a small list of names Karma wasn't on it. I don't like Jack for a girl either. Have you thought about Kayla?
