We Took the Baby to the Vet

I was invited to go with for the well check and the beak and nails and wing trim. This is my avian vet now for about 10 years. The man is absolutely amazing when it comes to birds.. You all should have seen how he handled this giant of a baby. Of course it also helps when you have a bird this size that steps up for anyone.

Azul is doing great. His beak is now perfect and with enough nuts and wood he will not need another beak trim. His check up went fine and he is coming to stay with me next month while his mommy goes out of town. Guess what i will be posting a million pics again. Love this bird.

That is so cool! It is nice to have an avian vet that you know and trust I still can't get over how gorgeous this bird is, even if you can only see his head here

This is very good news.
I guess in the end you'll have your own Azul when his parents come back.
