Awesome would love to see some pics But on a side note I dont understand didnt you just post that you didnt want birds anymore, that they always die young and were a waste of money, so on and so forth......? You said you were done with parrots but you got another one.....Im not trying to be rude or anything just wanna know what your reasoning for getting another bird is after youve posted these things on 2 different forums( maybe you were overexaggerating in your other threads, which is a bad idea on a bird loving forum but I dont know). Dont get me wrong if you want another bird its your decision you know how many birds you can handle and everything Im just curious

Also wondering......not to be rude, but you did put the posts out there about being so unhappy with your birds, it's natural for members to be concerned and wonder. Sorry if you are offended.

I have a soft spot in my heart for English Budgies! Yours are adorable!

Like the others who have posted, I am also confused by your sudden purchase of three new birds after your rant on this forum....

My friend mentioned the other day that they don't think its my birds making me miserable about owning birds but people on forums are making me depressed they said before I ever joined forums I was happy owning birds when I've joined a few I've been miserable seems people on one forum talk crap about one person and they target that member where ever they go. And they tell others not to comment because so and so. I'm starting to think their right. People on forums made me loose my soul I don't feel anything when my birds die I just get mad.

people on forums don't 'pick' on people. If anything this is by far the nicest forum I've ever been on, everybody here is very welcoming. The only reason why everybody has asked is because on occasions when you've been on here you've complained about owning birds and how you don't want them, and THEN people say things. You can't go saying everybody on here is saying stuff because they aren't.

I'm new as of yesterday, and I've been reading through the forums. I haven't seen anything rude or undeserved said anywhere, and even when it is pointing out something people here are very friendly about it.

Remember, it's all how you read when everything is in type. I doubt anyone here is trying to be rude, they're all just worried about the well-being of our fluffy bird friends n.n

well hes a beautiful bird...

To be honest I love the parrot forums to me its about expanding my knowledge and growing so I can take better care of my birds, I think thats what everyone on here wants just to take the best care possible to these warm loving creatures before us, and if anyone was offensive in the past Im sure it was not meant to be, I mean it doesnt have to be about making friends I find the forums great for learning but I find it hard to believe that an internet forum could make anyone so unhappy, if your not happy its usually something inside that needs changing, what im saying, and this is meant only to be positive, is that if your unhappy youve got to make yourself happy from the inside out, its not about what your doing, possessions you own, or birds in your family if your unhappy getting rid of these things wont solve anything youll still be unhappy because your not looking at life optimistically youve got to decide to be happy and just do it no matter how hard things get or else youll always be unhappy with your life.

just think its a miracle were alive, we can breathe, we can feel, we can love, were very lucky were alive some people die before they even start life so youve gotta take the bull by the horns, do what makes you happy, learn to find happiness in the smallest of places, and be grateful you have wonderful friends, family, and birds some people dont have that so take this opportunity to live life to its fullest

i hope that this parrot helps you find this

H

Don't get me wrong. I think everyone is entitled to a rant or a bad day once in a while. I also hope you are happy with your new birds. My only issue is that a few weeks ago you had a sick bird that you said you couldn't get to the vet because you had no money and now you post that you spent over $600 on 3 new birds. You can do what you want and that's fine but you can't really be so surprised when people are going to wonder and question you.

Beautiful bird - Morgan is a cute name

Everyone, I do have to put the Mod hat on here and say please be respectful. Constructive criticism is welcome and encouraged, but it must be constructive. Concern is appreciated and respected, just please remain respectful.

Now, mod-hat off, I hope he does well for you $500 is a good price. Did that come with a cage? He's very handsome and so are the budgies. Let us know if you have any questions once the home-coming is over. Amazons, once they settle into a new home and get comfortable, tend to show different behaviors, sometimes becoming a little more belligerent

Rachel, this is a very friendly forum. That's one of the reasons I love it so much. I feel like everyone is kind and helpful. The forum members also have a passion for parrots and would hate to see any parrot be mistreated or hurt in any way, not at all saying you would. I doubt the members are pointing fingers, just concerned, and curious to why you've apparently changed your mind. Instead of becoming defensive, I'd suggest simply explaining yourself to everybody.
Everyone else, constructive criticism only and stay respectful to everybody.

By the way, your new Amazon is beautiful! Very glad for you. You should post more pictures for us.

I never said it was this forum. This one is slow at replying. I see everyone elses threads get 30+ replies when it comes to mine I'm lucky if I get one. If no one here wants me here tell me then so I don't waste my time posting.

thats not true when you post your birds everyone replies and I havent seen anybody get over 20 replies, everybody wants you here Julia they were just concerned and when you posted that you didnt want your birds anymore everyone replied and tried to make you feel better. Besides it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks or how many comments you get your on here for the love of your birds. So dont worry about it so much Like I said youve gotta be happy and who cares what anyone think were all just people no ones better then anyone else.
