Update on KC from her new home

Kc my old and very missed Severe Macaw is still doing great in her new home, and Steph (the lady that now owns her) and I are good friends, and get together every once and awhile.

KC just got spoiled with a LOVELY huge cage from the states, one any Severe would be LUCKY to have, makes me almost want to go live with her

KC (besides her down) is now starting to regrow actual FEATHERS on her chest, which I'm so proud of her for! What a good girl! But she did pull two out, because of the itching, so Steph got her on some holistic Avicalm, and a Feather up solution.

So surprise! KC is for sure a girl, KC layed two eggs last night in the bottom of her cage, and Steph said she even clucked around like a chicken afterward lol

God I miss macaws... especially her.

If they lay eggs it usually is a good sign right?

Laying eggs usually means that they are comfortable where they are, yes.

Thats good lol because I think shes part of the reason my fiance's mom's boyfriend left her... I mean it isnt funny, but it is... He never really liked her, and complained constantly about her.
