Hope I haven't made any mistakes...

Oliver has already picked up whistling. I hope I haven't messed up his talking later on. He just loves to whistle though.

oh no, i dont think you have messed up at all!

try different whistles, noises and over all just talk to him like you would to anyoone else.

my family thinks im crazy because i have full on convo's with my conure, but she sure picks up on some of the words!

I was amazed how fast he could pick it up. I love to whistle and it was hard to not do it. But I do think he will be okay.

If he's good at mimicking whistles I'm sure he'll pick up talking well! My hermes learns whistles pretty good but he is pretty mumbly when he talks. He tries though!

Absolutely, he should pick up words fairly quickly since whistling came easy. Whistling wont interfere with mimcking words.
