Hi
We are not too sure what happened, I fed her some red capsicum followed by apple and within half and hour she was sick. It was like she was choking but there was nothing in her throat. I think she fell from the top perch and collected her right leg on the way down. When I noticed her right foot curled up I uncurled it and she came right. We popped her back into cage after settling her, she had a play with her toys, was eating when we put her to sleep. I heard her fall at around 4am but couldn't hear her climbing back up. When I got to her she was back in the state she had been earlier. We don't have after hours vets here in Auckland to deal with avian stuff, so we got her comfy, kept her warm and waited for the vet to open, I know she was still breathing at 6.45am but was gone by 8am the breeder thinks she might have had a reaction to the capsicum which caused a stroke and she fell and hit her leg so a few things going on for her.

So sorry for your loss Judging from her misshapen beak though, there must have been some underlying illness?
