Bad news about Buddy

Buddy passed away earlier today. As you can imagine from seeing the photos he was in very poor health. I like to think that I still helped him a bit by having him for that short while. I don't know what else to say really. A bit shocked

I am so sorry... Poor Buddy. What a life he had. But I think having you in his life, even for a little while, made him happy and loved. You did everything you could. RIP little Buddy.

Aww so sorry to hear He was so adorable, despite his poor feathering, and you gave him a wonderful life in the short time you had him

I'm sorry to hear that, Daisy!
But I'm sure he felt that he got a new home with love and care. You could see it from his face on the photos. And that was worth trying your best.
Fly free, little Buddy!

I am so sorry to hear Buddy did not make it.
You did your bit, so do not beat yourself up.
The damage was already done by that tosser. And there may not of been anything you could of done differently.
At least you showed him that not all humans are bad.

R.I.P. Buddy as you cross the Rainbow Bridge.

A tribute to my lost ones. RIP.

Oh, Daisy, I am so sorry. It made me cry. You did all you could for Buddy. At least he knew love and kindness even for such a short time. He's where nothing can ever hurt him or cause him pain again. I can just see him now in Heaven with the most beautiful plummage, eating all his heart desires and soaring with angels forever! God bless you again for giving Buddy the only love and kindness he ever knew. Thank you.

And God said, "...let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." And God saw that it was good.

Thank you both so much. I do like to think that he had a good life for that last week or so. Poor guy. I can't help but think about the other cockatiel he was separated from. I hope they're okay!
