Does anyone know what is the favorite seed for parrots in a seed mix?

And it is used as a filler in a huge number of seed mixes.
Some sunflower is good, but it should be in a limited amounts.

Millet may also be in a seed mix, and some birds will target this.

Safflower is another much liked seed.

A tribute to my lost ones. RIP.

Yes for my p'let, tiel and GCC it is safflower and sunflower that they will pick out and eat first... I limit them .. To be honest that's all they eat out of the mix , then they eat pellets ( in a seperate dish ) and leave the rest of the seeds.

Sunflower is definitely popular, but also not very healthy. Although I do notice each individual bird has their own favorites.

The favorite seeds are the oil seeds like sunflower seeds, Cardy and peanuts.
Sunflower seeds have very good nutrition components.

But parrots only need a few of them, too much may cause overweight and liver problems.
