Does your bird love avicakes?

Oliver loves avicakes. Cozette the budgie also like them....Mina the linnie not so much. Maybe she'll come around in time as she doesn't like pellets. Nobody likes nutriberries here.

With as much as Oliver loves them, I can't help but doubt how good they are supposed to be for birds. 50% pellets, 50% seed. What are your thoughts? Do your birds love avicakes?

Oh yes my birds really like avi-cakes. I even use them in the aviaries! I got the small bird ones as well as the normal ones. They seem to eat every last bit. I think they're fine Not as a complete diet, but a snack

My birds don't get them anymore but, of course, they do like them (anything that has seeds and sugar are always a favorite -LOL)

I use them once in while. They seem to like Lafeber's Nutri-Berries more. I add them to zupreem, broudybush pellets and another pellet, tropical blend.

Never had them, they waste the Nutra-berries.

I tried bird bisquits, but my guys didn't like them. They prefer crackers.

My parrotlet breaks apart the Nutri-Berries with ease and eats all, but not the linnies. I have to break apart one for them in the food dish with the other morning food. When I use to give my linnies avi-cakes I had to break them apart or they wouldn't eat them.

My birds all used to love them...I fed them daily and felt that they were a healthy treat. However, they must have gotten tired of them, because none of them will eat them anymore. Odd. So, I stopped buying them. But, I think if your bird likes them, they are a good way to get some pellets into them
