Beans, Beans, the magical fruit...:)

I bought these ingredients for less than $2! They were purchased at Sprouts, a whole foods market here. Half a scoop of 10 bean soup and a half a scoop of the brown wild rice mix. I threw in a sprinkle of frozen veggies and a few pieces of frozen mango I already had. I just rinsed, threw it all in the pot, filled it with and 1.5 inches of water over the mix, brought it to a boil and cooked it for about 1.5 hours on simmer after that.

Once it was done, I drained the water, put it into ice trays, froze it, then transfered it to freezer bags.

That looks awesome! Will your birds eat it all or pick at it?

My birds are pretty good eaters. Especially Mina will eat anything (except pellets, lol, altho she has started snacking on them here and there).

Fantastic, lucky birds! Looks like they eat better than I do sometimes, lol.

That looks fine.
I tried something similar, that was a parrot's mash for cooking from my internet store, but my guys didn't like it.
They are so obstinate with food, they avoid everything new.
