To flower, or not to flower?

Do you feed your birds flowers?

Azuki has tried and likes flax, zucchini, and hibiscus. Tomorrow the birds will get gladiolus. I'd like to give them rose but I want to make sure I can find human grade edible flowers, so there are no pesticides. Roses from floral shops are not safe.

I've fed daisies, hibiscus and dandelion. I may consider growing my own for them
