How Old?

I just bought Crayola, a two month old Rainbow Lorikeet. I was feeding it formula by hand just to bond with it but it can eat the powder stuff. At what age can I start feeding it fruit and other goodies? And how much of it should I be giving him/her?

I'd assume that Crayola can eat fruit now, if not, I'm sure Kate can give you an answer to that.

As for how much, do a morning and evening feed for him, let him have his mix etc and offer fruit with it. Remember to take the stones and pips out of all fruit. I know some people who will give their lories and lorikeets a whole apple a day because they love fruit so much. If I were you I'd pm Kate if she doesn't see this already, she has a lot of experience with them
