Kashi cereal

So when i went to the vet last month with Cricket, they gave me a hand out that said what kind of foods you can feed your bird. One of the things on the list was healthy cereal. So i though what is one of the healthiest ones out there on the market and i thought Kashi. So i got one with lots of different grains in it and he totally loves it. He still isn't a big fan of the pellets, they are always the last thing left in his bowl but i really feel good about the cereal. Of course he still gets his fruit and veggies and various other stuff but i was just wondering what you guys thought of this. There were other things on the list that i wan't too sure about so i though I would see what you guys thought....

The biggest thing with cereals is the sugar content. People I know who give their birds cereal usually go for the unsweetened, whole grain ones like Cheerios Kinda boring, but that's the healthiest option for cereal as a treat. Goober gets a bite or two of my cereal occasionally, I like honey bunches of oats and she gets a few flakes, none of the clusters

I'm sure a few bites of Kashi wouldn't hurt! just make sure there's not a lot of fat or sugar.

No, not much fat, sodium or sugar in it. That is one of the reasons i thought it might be good. Kashi is a very healthy cereal.
