Is this a healthy diet?

As some of you may know, I just got a GCC I'm still researching diets and I was curious whether or not I'm on the right track. This is what I've given my conure today:

- Pellets available at all times
- 1 small blueberry
- 1/3 of a raspberry
- 1 small spinach leaf (nibbled on)
- 2 sunflower seeds
- small piece of green pepper (not eaten)
- thin slice of cucumber (half eaten)
- 1 baby carrot (nibbled on)
- small almond (hasn't tried yet)
- 1 tsp mixed seed

Does this seem like a healthy diet (with the types of fruits/veggies changed daily), or should I make some changes? What ratio of pellets/seeds/veggies/fruits, etc. do you give daily?

Also, how much food do GCC's need on average? Will she be fine eating a diet like this on an "eat until you're full" basis, or do I need to ration pellets, fruits & veggies as well as treats?

I think it sounds pretty good! One thing I'd add is just a little seed. Scully loved a bit of variety like that!

I feed mine a cooked breakfast of 5-6 kinds of rice including wild rice, quinoa, barley, lentils, wheat, cous cous, pastas, and oats... all my birds , budige, parrotlet and conure get this and love it.

That, in my opinion, is a fantastic diet! I'm currently feeding:

- 1 or 2 pellet berries as a sort of treat usually in the morning before their fruit n veg. here's a link http://www.mysafebirdstore.com/produ...7&product=9125

- 2 scoops of Rob Harvey's Parrot Premium Plus. This is probably one of the best seed mixes I have EVER fed my birds and they all LOVE it, it can be used for any sized bird too. Here's the ingredients Paddy rice, Striped Sunflower, Pumpkin Seeds, Melon Seeds, Red Peppers, Rosehip Kernels, Raisins, Cedar Nuts, Oats, Peeled Oats, Buckwheat, Red Dari, White Dari, Safflower Seeds, Hazelnut Kernels, Almond Kernels, Carrot, Presco Maize, Presco Wheat, Polled Peas, White Millet, Red Millet and Plate Millet.

- different fruit and veg in the morning depending on what I have in stock really, their favourites are apples but they'll eat just about anything

- one scoop of Vitakraft Cocktail Frutti which is somewhat a treat but you're supposed to mix it in with seeds. It's got loads of fruit, nuts, seeds and chewy things in there that my birds just love

- treats are on the odd occasion, I feed ZuPreem bird cookies as a treat but I often have to break them up smaller 'cause the birds can't seem to eat them, being quite small and what not haha!

- Alexandrine parakeets Holly, George, Koda & - Crimson rosella Kasumi Orange winged Amazon parrot Paulie
