Talking My new conures diet

So ive been trying different things with my new baby. So far he lurrves corn sultanas apple peas broccoli, but doesnt like mango at all banana capsicum or carrot. Ive also tried almonds. My question is I was told broccoli and cauliflower stems are not ok only the flowery fluffy bit is. Is this true? Ive only used the fluffy bit so far. Also ang other ideas on some yummy first time foods and is juice ok?

Only if it's fresh juice, like had nothing added to it. Then that's fine. I have never given the stems, I don't know why... I don't know if you can or not. I can't see why not, I THINK you can!

My conure LOVES a drop of orange juice ( or I use a food processor to mince my veggies down to the size of a millet seed quite often and have always used stem and all on both cauliflower and broccoli. Never heard not to feed those and my birds are all fine. You can buy what is called broccoli slaw here and it is just shredded broccoli stems and carrots.
