Carol,
It sounds like they live up to that old saying, "You eat like a bird!". Lol

I've always been interested in the Worldy Cuisines but still have not gotten around to ever buying any. It looks really good, not to mention healthy!

I know what you mean! I do know Persnickety Parrot (Kristen) tries to keep her shipping costs as low as possible.

I usually try to get most of my toys, food, etc. from my local bird shop -- luckily they're a VERY good store! I know they carry the Higgins foods. I'm going to see if they have the variety pack the next time I'm there.

Bob,
Did you have many heavy things in your cart? My shipping is charged in real time by UPS, but $14 does sound high. One other person I know of had a high shipping cost also, so please let me know and I can check into it for you.

Hmm, that's odd, because it's shipping weight is just over 2 lbs. I couldn't find the problem so put in a ticket with tech support and will also have my husband take a look at it. I do know that UPS costs have gone up, so maybe that's why? I will let you know what I find out.

Bob,
I posted this in the wrong thread, and am reposting it here now -
Bob,
I spent hours on the phone with tech support and with my husband trying to figure out why you came up with that high price for shipping. Not only could we not figure it out, but I couldn't find your unfinished order in the queue so the mystery continues. I will say that I have had this happen twice before with customers though. I want to assure you and everyone that I do not have any hidden fees on shipping, nor a handling charge, and if you are every overcharged on shipping, I will see that right away on my supplier invoice and I WILL reimburse you right away for the overcharge. Like I said, I've had this happen twice before. I wish I could figure out WHY. I very much appreciate you letting me know!

Kristin, just re tried it and the shipping is now $11.29. That is really weird. I know the first time I did it the shipping was $13.98. Who knows where glitches come from. Thanks for looking into it though.

The shopping cart mystery continues. lol. I had this same thing happen to someone else, and I have yet to figure it out. But like I said, of you just let me know, or I see an overcharge in shipping, I will reimburse you.
