Question Question on birdie bread for GCC

Hi all, so I am new to the bird world, Margarita my GCC is doing well. But I wanted to make birdie bread tomorrow. Already got veggies and fruits for it. But the Jiffy corn mix calls for milk and egg. I know egg is fine, but is there something I can substitute the milk for? I know birds can't have milk and I don't want to make my GCC sick. She does not like apples, so going to try it in the bread mix, and see if that helps, she does like broccoli slaw, strawberries and grapes and carrots, and rice so far. (she went after my dinner rice.lol) I know of the big NO NO's with chocolate, avacado's and seeds in fruits. Just wanted to double check and make sure I am not missing anything on what they can't have and how to make the birdie bread. THanks guys!

I use 2 small jars of fruit or veggie baby food instead of milk... You could also use juice.

Thanks guys! I have some juice, and have to run back out this evening, I will grab some baby food. I also have some unsweetened all natural apple sauce, the organic stuff too. I I think her favorite is broccoli and strawberries so far. LOL I appreciate the responses.

I also use Baby Food, Sweet Potatoes and unsweetened Applesauce as the liquid in my Birdie Bread. I make them into muffins, and give Maxx a quarter of a muffin each morning.

How long do the muffins last for Bob? I know you freeze some, but typically a muffin would be okay left out for a few days then?

I keep 2 out, and they are stored in a plastic storage container in the refrigerator. The rest are frozen, so once a week or so, I take out 2. Maxx gets a quarter of a muffin each morning, microwaved for 15 seconds. So the 2 muffins I have out last 8 days.

Thanks so much Bob and the rest of you for your input, I just don't want to hurt her, and feel it is better to ask than assume when it comes to a bird, especially since I am new at this. I have read the conure books they have out, and information on the internet as well, but it didn't mention this, so I figured I would ask! Thanks again, can't wait to try my hand at it tomorrow and see how she likes it!
