smoothies

I've started adding morning smoothies to my birds diets. I don't know why I never thought of it before. I got a Nutribullet and it can blend fruit and veggies really well, and I'm a vegan so mist of the time I can give them part of my morning smoothie. This way I can get them to eat some of the veggies and fruits that they don't like as much ( the conures don't really like greens oddly enough, the budgies love them). My birds have always loved eating my smoothies so I don't why I didn't think of this earlier

I do the same here's a tip, on hot days you can freeze some into an ice cube tray, when they're done, blend it up and you get an awesome crushed fruity treat that cools them down

Hmm...have never thought of feeding the birds smoothies before! Maybe I'll try that.
What all do you put in and how do you make it? (I've never made a smoothie before,
surprisingly!)

My greenie loves orange juice but I never thought of giving them smoothies.I use soy or almond milk so they are always lactose free.
I love blueberry banana smoothies with a handful of cranberries for tartness.

Ive been hankering for a Pineapple, coconut smoothie after watching Psych commercials talking about them..

Abby I usually throw in banana, fruit, greens, and water and they gp nuts for it.

Great idea Daisy I'll definitely have to try that, I bet they'll really appreciate it in the summer
