Hanging Water Bottles

This is probably a stupid question but what is the proper way to hang a water bottle. Do your water bottles move around a lot?

I don't have an answer for you. I use water dishes. Just didn't want you to feel like your post had been overlooked.
Sorry I'm no help

I may be going into town later today. If I end up going, I'll swing by the pet supply store and check out their bottles.

I stopped by petco while in town. They had 2 styles of water bottle for birds. Both of them look like they will be able to move around when installed. I'm certain my conures and grey would toss both styles all over the cage if I tried to use them. Especially my grey as he sleeps on top of his water dish (it's the hooded kind). They look like they would work fine for budgies and other small birds though. I'm just going by looks, and have never used either style (or any style water bottle for birds, just for small rodents).
If yours moves around more than you'd like it to, maybe you could secure it more with some wire or something?

My conures water bottle is quite a big heavy one, so she doesn't bother with it.

Some styles are better than others. But if you want to stop it moving use some wire of some pegs work as well

I like the glass Super Pet bottles. They come with a spring hanger and another bent metal piece that holds them more securely so they don't move much. It doesn't seem to bother the birds though if they do slide a little.
