Pyrrhura Conures

Another question to pose to you wonderful people.

The Green Cheek Conure seems to be the most popular Pyrrhura Conure and that is something definitely earned by their gorgeous appearance. What I would like to know is: Is there a difference between Pyrrhura species in general, besides looks? Particularly the Green Cheek, the Pearly and the Black Capped. Here's what I've found so far...
GCCs - bolder therefore larger tendency to be nippy, slightly louder than the other 2, vaguely more needy than the other 2
Pearly - slightly more laid back and shier, slight less tendancy to be nippy, slightly quieter than the GCC
BCCs - more laid back, slight less tendency to be nippy, slightly quieter than the GCC and sometimes the Pearly
...THis said, I'm aware all birds are individual I'm just curious on the general personalities and the tendencies of each species Thanks!!!

Well don't know about the other two, but I will tell you about my experience with green cheek conure. My first experience was when I worked at Petsmart where there was a wild type gcc. She was flighty but very sweet. Very quiet calm bird once on your shoulder. Never attempted to bite. Jack is my now gcc and at first he was very nippy. My guinea pig err husband worked with him. He has a high tolerance for pain and within the week he stop biting him. He still bit me particularly when I would out him up. After a couple of discussions with him he settled down. He only nibbles and squeaks in protest. I have seen him draw blood on the neighbor. IMO once they trust and respect you they are very gentle. My other experience was with another pets store gcc. It was under socialized and also a little nippy but never was a hard biter. Just mouthed u when it didn't want to do something. Seemed like a bird you could easily work with, with patience and time.
I really like my gcc Jack . Hes such a sweet bird now, and only gently mouths us when he's being a stinker .

I have kept a maroon belly x green cheek, various green cheeks and a black capped conure. My black capped is the loudest out of all of them and is a persistent screamer and biter I think most are pretty much alike, minus the obvious individual personality traits
