His highness's breakfast

Well I am happy to report that Oliver the plet sleeping in another cage at night, even a few nights a week, has really helped. He has just been a dream. A real angel. And has been coming out of his main cage a lot more easily. In the mornings when I come and get him out of the sleep cage, he is just in the best mood!

Here is a picture of his breakfast. He went to the top of his cage looking for it before I could put it up there, lol

Birds never can wait at feeding time.
But I understand him. This is a first class breakfast!
Do you get a bird kiss for this?

His highness doesn't give kisses but will gladly accept beak kisses, belly kisses, and of course kissing his little feet as you should .

There is a green mash I made (with celery stalks and leaves, serrano pepper, thyme, cayenne, and pellets) in the food processor. Then there are a few things from a frozen veggie mix including corn and spinach. Some chopped grapes and persimmon. The seed looking mix is a mix I made from the dried goods bins for humans. It cost me like $3 for a small amount of several things which will last months for my birds. I can't remember everything in it but some of it was chia seeds, flax seeds, almond meal, cracked oats, rolled oats, millet, spelt, freeze dried raspberry and blueberries.

I'm thinking about a sleep cage for peeps. Is there a specific size/style? He's been a real ornery stinker lately since his molt. I did leave him be to an extent during that though... So it is prolly partially my fault. I need to get him back to my little chin cuddling buddy.... During the day he runs to the other side of the cage if I put my hand in to change water. But at night during covering he will climb on the front of the cage and click, chirp, whirr, and be all lovey and give me little kisses on my finger....

Nothing fancy just a small cage with his sleeping buddy, food, and water.
