green cheek acting weird

we have a 4 year old green cheek conure that we recently got from my bf's dad. we've had him for a little over a week now. at first he didn't want anything to do with me at all and if i tried to touch him he'd bite me, hard enough to leave an impretion for a while. for the last two days he's been all over me. he'll sit on my shoulder, walk all over me, try to burrow in my hair, and he chirps at me. he still nips if i try to touch him though and he won't go to my bf. what has caused this behaivor? another thing is that he was sittin on my chest today and he started twitching his wings, is this normal? any info would be nice, and thank you in advance.

^ what they said. You haven't long had the bird so you can't expect too much of it. Give it time. He may be fearful of your hands so try offering treats and showing him that you are not a threat

The change may be upsetting him. He needs a chance to get used to his new situation. Patience and time are the keys here.

Keep us posted on how it's going!
