I haven't posted much about him yet, but he is a handful! (In a good way) anyway, I have been working a lot so most of my time has been in the evenings. So after some grumbling on his part I bring him out and he snuggles and has a little purr type grunt before he decides to terrorize the house for a bit. So tonight I said "hi baby mojo" and he scuttled over and cocked his head and nibbled my lip. (He has his conure moments of nipping which he has already improved on, but this was different. It was like he was running to my voice) We did this 4 or five more times and he repeated until the last two times he took his first full flight around the house before both times landing back on my arm. We both thought it was clearly "hey! That's me!"
When we have our snuggle times he can he nibbles on my fingers like he's preening them. And I haven't been able to start training him too much yet, mostly since he's brand new and I want to ensure bonding and settling in time. But I did teach him to step up in about 5 minutes on his first day. he's a smart lil trouble maker!
