What is this dance?

Pepper has been doing this ever since we brought her home. At first she did it towards us from her perch in her cage. Now it is less often but I caught it on tape. She was watching my budgies. Is this supposed to intimidate?

It looks like a mating dance, some birds like to dance when they are trying to get another birds attention and I think this is what your bird is doing while looking at the budgies.

He's all, "HEY LADIES! CHECK OUT THESE MOOOOVEEES!"

If you look at a few of these youtube videos you will see similar rocking motions these sexy birds are doing as well.

I agree, for me it also looks like she is ready to mate.

Can you post up a few more pics so we get a better idea?

I just said he in my post because I didn't have a clue what sex the bird is.

Now I'm going to be the one who ruins everything and says that it doesn't appear to be a mating dance Looks like your sennie wants to fly, that's all. A lot of birds do it when they anticipate before flying

I'm thinking hen, but I'm not sure. Someone on here will know.

I really liked the laughing clip. Too cute.

I know I really love her laugh! She seems to do it at the exact right time too.. Sometimes it makes me wonder if she just does it because she knows I love it so much or if she can actually find humor in something and think its funny.. so hard to tell! I trimmed the sound from a video and use it as my text message alert!!!
