Sun conure behavior change

Yesterday when I got home, Starburst was twitching his wings and bobbing his head even when laying on his back (feather fluffed like when he's happy). We tried researching online, and what we found was it's something they do when they're happy and/or wanting food. He did finally stop after I put the seed mix he was eating before I bought him. The only change was that I had the small fruit pellets in his food dish instead of the seed mix. My husband also thought that he was associating me with raisins, because I'd give him one when he'd go back in the cage without fighting for me. Is this a behavior I should worry about?

I did leave a mix of the seeds and pellets for him while I'm at work today.

It's difficult to tell from the description, would you mind posting a video? It sounds like he is trying to display and regurgitate for you but I am not sure...

It's not uploading the video I have. It doesn't even show an error message.

Are you posting the clip from youtube?

This one isn't mine, but it's the closest thing I found.. Starburst did the twitching with both wings without them fully extending. Does that help?

This sort of looks like a baby wanting to be fed actions to me. I could be wrong.

How old is Starburst?

5 months. I've noticed after I gave him his seed mix back he stopped. Also anytime I give him his favorite seed when he does a trick or gets in his cage, he does it in small amounts

Thank you!! I believe so too. I made chop for the first time, and he did it while eating that. I think it's his "I want or am eating my good food" sign

This 5 month old is so smart! With his giving the little baby act to his new parront its just his way of making sure you are paying attention and will bend and give to his every want and need. Who can resist a little baby action?

This bird is cunning!
