Vomiting on toys

Well it seems like Mango our Sun Conure is in love again with his toy, second time in less than a month! He gets aggressive and very intolerant of pretty much anything as soon as the toy goes out he goes back to normal. My bird has a thing for anything rope like!
Pepino on the other hand seems to like his tail "too much" because his doing..... Well I'm sure you guys can figure that one out; so we went to the vet and two of the most experienced stores in Houston seeking help and they say that no much can be done other than perhaps give them a shot of hormones, I really don't want to do that and is not because of money but the shot part freaks me out the.
Any help or advise will be greatly appreciated!

Cutting down daylight hours. Unless you have an irn, then you have to increase them.
Others on here can help better.

Less daylight hours, more sleep, and taking away the toy which is causing problems can really help a lot.
