ok weird question

When your bird moults, do you help with the moulting? Like help cracking the sleath oof the new feather? Lol

Aleron-Male Sun Conure Dnad had since 15weeks old
Stormy-Male WF pearl pied male teil had since 9 weeks old
Atila-Male/female? Lutino teil had since 4 weeks old

Well I only have one sunny and today I helped him as he's going thru his first BIG moult. Just wanted to know if its normal he he...

Yes I help my conure and my parrotlet as they are single caged birds and they really enjoy it... my budgies are not so hans on and they preen each other. I lightly scratch the sheathed feather between my finger nail and thumb to crush the sheath... if it is not ready I soon find out!!...lol

I haven't so far but I don't think Hermes would appreciate it! He likes his scritches but only on his head and I don't know if he'd like me messing with his pinnies. :X

For a bird of mine that doesn't have a bird buddy, yes. My others have bird buds to help with that, though I do help a tad too.
