Thumbs up yeah!!!

i have been working with Dusty on target training and clicker training he has been doing very well and will now follow the target where ever i put it except out of the cage. i have also been trying to get him to step up from the cage inside or on top. you see he will step up when off his cage but not on top of or in his cage well for the first time he stepped up from the top of his cage. i have been using a towel to get him and this is the first time he has stepped up without me having to get a towel for any reason. i try to mix his training up a little adding something like working with the harness so he will not get bored.

Thats really good!
Clicker training is a great way to build trust.
If your parrot doesn't want to step up, you can use a 'opstap stok' to train him.

Then he can't bite you.
