Do your birds watch tv?

My birds right now are all watching Rio in my bedroom (well technically their room too) and half of them are asleep, but Ike is chattering away to the music, And felix LOOKS like hes watching the screen, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, Ike really likes cop shows on tv, particularly COPS and Serve and Protect, and he LOVES it when people swear and they bleep it. He gets really excited, and starts chattering away, and scolding them in budgie talk

So my question is do your birds like tv, and do you think they actually watch it, or just like the noise?

Joey would scream the place down every time he saw the advert for a card making company called funky pigeon. Even if you paused it, as long as he could see that pigeon on a bike he was off I think they watch it if there is enough movement.

Has it changed to the koala over there too? It's so funny! I never thought I'd see a koala loving some toilet roll

No its still the silly pink and red bears.. I dont get why he likes it, but yes, he yells at them too. I wonder if its the colour, not the noise.

I think they do watch it. I remember when the 2000 Olympics were in Sydney and I had one of my Rainbow Lorikeets inside in the living room. We were watching the opening ceremony and Cheekie was singing and dancing along to the music. Until the end when the Marching Bands came on. He really didn't like them and started screaming at them. He did it again when we watched the replay, he really didn't like the Marching Bands.

Rocky loves the tv and goes mad when he can see it and it's switched on.

Munchkin enjoys sitting on my shoulder watching the tv or watching my play the Xbox, naturally when he gets bored he likes to hang down the front of my face and demand kisses whilst totally blocking my view of the screen, he seems to like violent video games and loves Alien Vs Predator!

That is sooo adorable! My lovebird sometimes watches tv, but it would only be for like 10 seconds and then he gets bored XD

That is hilarious how Ike reacts to the bleeping swear words!

Haven't tried the child channel

Tried it. And she screamed louder than I have every heard before.
I figured out it was one of the characters, and whenever she saw it she screamed. lol

My birds do their own thing regardless of what we're doing..unless Luna finds something interesting and needs to investigate it. I don't think any of mine watch TV. Allie naps when she's sitting on me, and the other birds just chatter/sing to themselves.

Duke watched the coast part of blue planet. And absolutely had a flip when he heard the gulls and kittiwakes lol
