Clingy GCC

Hello all!
I got my GCC Oscar a few weeks ago, and i absolutely love him to death!
After being very skittish and scared for the first couple of weeks, he has warmed up to me and loves loves LOVES to sit on my shoulder in my hair. But when I get him off of my shoulder he refuses to stay off and instantly jumps back. He will stay like this for hours... What can I do to get him more interested in more thing than my hair? Plus I want to thank everyone here for showing me the GCC. He is such a wonderful little character.

I would buy/make a birdy necklace and give him tons of little foot toys to play with while you hang out

Birdie necklaces are a need for a climby crazy conure!
Stick all sorts of things on there.. Beads, wood, anything safe!!

My conure was playing with my hair the other day... She is not allowed to play with my earrings and knows it.. I have little sterling silver heart shaped drops in right now... I felt her touch my earring but then she left it so no correction was needed or made ( I ussually make a certain noise at her that she knows means no) I then heard her chewing on something , I looked and it was my earring...lol she slipped it out so slick I didn't feel it... Little brat! I also allow mine to sit on my shoulder often if she wants to.

Thanks everyone! I do plan on making a play gym eventually before the year is over.. the ones at stores are just too small, and over-priced. I have to make a birdy necklace for Oscar soon too . Anyone have any recommendations of toys for GCC? It would much appreciated.
