That may just be the gcc ways. They are known for being very nippy. It may be hormones too. How old is she?

I think she is sexually maturing I think for gcc's its "around" 12 months they go through sexual maturity and become very nippy to test and see how far they can push, important thing is NEVER react which you probably know already

If the bird is a people bird and clipped then the floor may help... When my GCC was nippy ( she is a people bird ) I would gently plop her on the floor... Then turn my back to her and make everyone else ignore her... Must be done in a safe place of course... If she tried to go to someone else I would step in her way... After 1-2 minutes I would step her up and she would be extremely sweet and gentle... She learned quickly... Funny thing is she does not mind being on the floor so much, it was being banished off her person the did the trick... She has mostly grown out of being nippy now at about 1 1/2 yrs old.

Out of my three green cheeks, only one has gone through a 'violent' phase. He's currently going through it now and we're working on it! The floor idea is great
