More obsessive?

Starling has found a new thing to amuse herself with, and she'll do it all night if you let her.... Sometimes I worry about her, she's not normal compared to my other linnies.

Now she's obsessed with the links holding the toy/tent onto the cage. She's taken to trying to unscrew them all. Its not good for her to try this constantly, she could hurt herself by pinching her tongue, or by getting a foot or other body part stuck in the hole, so how could I get her to stop?

Not to mention the constant sound of them hitting and banging the bars is really irritating after about 2 hours, or when you are trying to get some sleep before a hard night shift..

Nothing is really missing from her diet, they get a varied diet of fruits, veggies, pellets, and the odd seeds, so I dont think its a metal craving, but like how do I get her to stop???

Anything you can cover them with? Like fleece or similar so she can't get to them?

Maybe, but then I worry about her getting stuck in it. Fleece or vet wrap maybe..
