How old is he for starters? If he's sexually mature, it's currently the worst time of year for birds ESPECIALLY Amazons it seems!

A lot of birds can favour one sex, and if its men he doesn't like it may be something that can be worked on, but very slowly. When a bird resents something they resent it

Another thing is that the blue front is one of the Hot Three Amazons (blue fronted, yellow naped and double yellow headed) and they are very well known for being aggressive and unpredictable, but more so in Spring

Yes he is 13 this year and is sexually mature... We kept a blue front amazon before for 13 years but she was female but she wasn't any thing like it it seems he doesn't like any one taller than him but more males he is fine with me and females and my children....

Male blue fronts tend to become very aggressive, and as I said above, it gets a lot worse at this time of year. Have you tried target training?
