Treats for training conure

I'm in the process of training my conure and would like to know what food can be given as a rewarding treat. Max likes apples, raisins, nutriberries, sunflower seeds and apricots but these foods take some time to eat, especially since he likes to hold them with his foot . I have watched several training videos and the treats offered look like it's "just one bite".
I'm new to conures and I'm fascinated to see Max holding his food like a big parrot but to train it's not very practical...

Have you tried hemp seeds? Most parrots love them and they are quick to eat... My parrots all love hemp!
