toy Obsession ~ on coming problem?"

so my new bird leon really likes bells and recently i made him a "board "game with a bell part and he loves it. on monday i found out that he will come out to see and play with the toy, so i am starting (as of yesterday) to take him out in the morning before school when i am getting dressed and several times when i come home. but, i found out after a while that if i stick my hand in the cage when he knows the toy is out there he will jump and "play bite" my hand and fingers, then i will not let him out to see the toy and i will start again, doing this with each hand. he seems to not bite my left hand about 95% of the time and will not bite my right hand like 5% of the time. he goes for my thumb and bites everywhere while singing. i think its because he is so excited.when he bites my right hand (a LOT) he lifts his wings which he never does when playing. it is more rare if i just have him come out on his own and then onto my finger. his bites are hard and sometimes unbearable so out of 'habit' i tried to move my finger which leads him to waiting to play bite the "moving objects". after getting freaked out or something and flying around my room (which is not allowed at his level of tameness) i grabbed him and clipped his wings. is there any other way to stop the biting? other than not reacting and not letting play with his toy until he gets on my finger without biting?

this is the toy he is obsessed with. the bell with the beads is his favorite.

He does lOve them but he bites my hand as if I was a toy. He hops on my finger and attacks my thumb. It was all red yesterday from him biting it :/

i made it! i had to pressure wash it to clean it but it is a nice addition to my room it not much os a play stand because it is still on the tree trunk! and the best part is that i got a $3 clear shower plastic curtain at walmart and i cut it into 4 squares and put a square underneath so my carpet doesnt get dirty. i also have Command hooks on the wall that the tree is tied to

before....

after

and with leon

Morris, a baby budgie I had to hand raise for somebody else, was an absolute nightmare with fingers! I'd just click and treat if he steps up without biting awesome toy! And stand!
