I thought i would give it a bit longer to wait...but this morning, I just had to look...all 4eggs were clear
I took the nest out and took out any shredding material tht I will put in. I read somewhere that you should give them a month resting time at least.
Once again...no chicks.
Awwe, sad news Roland sorry to hear that. Since I hadn't seen you on here much I thought you were busy with chicks.
If you find her being extra broody and heading to the nest box and laying again it might be time to buy some dummy eggs. Switch out her eggs with the fake ones and let her grow bored of sitting on the duds that will never hatch.
Change up the lighting in the cage area, don't let them have too much light in the room day to night, let them have an early morning of natural daylight then turn off the lights in their room at 7:30pm as its darker now much earlier these fall afternoon/evenings.
If its dark in their room they won't mate as often and the breeding condition will slow down or stop for them.
