heres an even rarer baby. Eva's little green thighed baby. Now 30 days old and apparently ready to explore the big bad world - no feathers yet!

Awwww too cute!

I would have thought it would be more feathered at 30 days old.

First day of 2016 and again the babies show us the way. Baby Thumper on the left, sole survivor of a disastrous end to 2015, hanging in there and getting stronger. On the right, Cha-Cha's new egg, laid this morning ( Jan 1st 2016) and abandoned. Is it fertile? I don't know, we will have to wait to find out. It has possibilities though. Maybe with care, and a lot of work, it can be another success.

Sorry to hear you've had a tough time with the birds breeding in 2015, I'm hoping for a better 2016 for you and your fine feathered friends. Thumper looks too cute as well as strong and healthy, soon you will have your hands full of a baby hopper!
