Inspirational Tree Thread

so i just want to spread some inspiration and show everyone how some thing simple can turn into something you never thought could happen!!

as many know, i have 2 trees in my room (which i am overly proud of ) and i was looking at the original pics of the tree and i look at them now and i was shocked!

the first tree right after i cut it down and trimmed it. *before*

*after* but still before the second tree was up.

the second tree after cutting it and trimming it *before*

boring.... second tree

*after* but before it was cleaned or in my room

*Current!*

so my point is that it only takes a little to make a lot- if that makes sense i just kept adding to each with small simple things to make it what it is now. the big tree was not always so colorful and fun:

but i kept adding to it

of course, you dont need to make giant trees for your fids, but taking something small and adding to it, will make it better and better

Shelly!
Thank you for showing others it is not that hard to build natural Play Gyms for the Fids. I feel these are much better for them than some I have seen.
You could help others by explaining how you fixed them together, as this is something some worry over.

I think it best if I leave your thread alone and up date one with my Play Gyms.

A tribute to my lost ones. RIP.

Awesome! How do you get them to stand up? I don't see anything supporting them under the plexiglass.

I tied the branches together with just rope and under bother trees, I have a 1/2 of a plastic shower curtain that I wash off when it gets gross. The big tree used to be half leaning again the wall and half secured to the wall with clear Command hooks, until the summer came and heated up my wall and the command hooks peeled off my wall dragging the paint with it so now the are just leaning against the wall and they are still secure I still haven't fixed my wall...

i still look at trees in the woods and debate if they would make good birds trees... and then i remind myself that i dont have the room!

its going to be a zoo on there when all the birds come out on it!

I'm very jealous. Now I have hardly any birds in the house any more I can start to focus on nice little projects like this and I will have to give it a go myself. Thank you for sharing can't wait to see your twosome become a big flock!

I was thinking of using an extra Christmas tree stand as a base. I have a very tall, large bottle brush branch and hope to start my project soon.
