Salvage an old toy

I normally just throw away the broken bits of wood that the birds have chewed on. Since the senegal can destroy a whole toy in one day I have decided to salvage the broken bits of wood that I can re-use.

Here's one I have saved today

All the wood has been chewed off

I collected all the bits of broken wood together

I drill in the wood new holes

Ta dah! It's good enough for a second round

Nice! I always like to reuse toys whenever possible... Goober is so destructive! Haven't redrilled any tho, that's a good idea!

I also try to reuse toys over and over until they are just completely useless. I hate to waste money.

I've also bought in some new toy parts to replace those broken ones that can't be re-used. This way I should be able to save a few more pennies
