Corner Bird Cage for African Grey

I'm remodeling my living area and I'd like my parrot to have a new space as well. She lives in in the corner of our main living area. The layout includes her in the middle of things whether we are in the kitchen, the dining, or the living room. Space is a huge factor - we have none. While I was looking at cages, I discovered the corner cages, like this

Does anyone have experience with these odd shaped gems? It would be perfect for our space. I would think that the sharp angle on one side would eliminate the potential issues of having an entirely circular cage. She would still have a sharp corner if she gets scared, etc. It's larger than our current case in height, but we'd lose a but of space on the curve.

Thanks all!

I personally dislike corner cages, when you work out exactly how much space they actually have it really isn't as much as you think. Plus cleaning them out can be difficult with getting the paper to fit in correctly.

You might be best going to some shops that have them on display and having a good look at them in the shop to get a better idea of whether they would actually work long term.

I have yet to use a corner cage but I do think they're awkward for lining. Unless you can get a really big one they tend to be super small too

Corner cages come in all sizes like any other cage.

As far as the liner goes my regular cages aren't a convenient shape/size either. I just fold the liner to fit.

I pull my cage away from the wall to clean it. If I had a corner one I'd do the same.

I don't have one, but I can't see a problem with using one.

I have seen people use them and love them, other people hate them. The biggest disadvantage I've seen is lining up perches and toys. It's really tricky to line up perches that go all the way across the cage, you will probably have better luck with perches that attach on one side or flexible rope perches
