I was wondering what everyone uses for taking their birds to the vet. I use the cage Tala came with but I haved moved futher north and I worry about insulating the cage. Against the -12 weather. This is the first vet visit since I got her. She needs her nails trimmed.

These are my carriers. The pink and green are made by super pet. I love them but they are discontinued now. The blue one is the one I bought for Mina from petco.

The small cage on the link below I use when we are going to someone's house or if its going to be longer than just there and back. But for wings or nails, vets, etc., we use the carriers.

The blue one from Petco is like the one I have for the 'lets. They also have a soft case you can slide it into. I found it in the small pets section.

l was just wondering if I should order one in I am looking at the one http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/living-...000112372107?gclid=CJfU9ZOakbwCFVGVfgodyjEAGg
That's exactly what I use to carry my linnies.
I put a towel on the ground and you can even fix a small food bowl in the air vents.
These boxes are available in different sizes, perhaps you find one that fits.

When it is cold I put the box into a lightly padded bag which I especially bought for that case.
I have no car, I must carry them on my scooter.

I use a cat carrier. You can jam a perch across the middle if you like too
