The hunt has finally ended, let the foraging begin!

So I have been on the hunt for small plastic (width, length, and depth) containers that I could use for foraging baskets for my birds. For months I have been searching but everything was just too deep. Well I finally found some and to my surprise they were two for $1 at target! Except for Cozette's. Hers was $1, lol. Anyway sweet deal. I put some millet pieces in them with foot toys, timothy hay, crinkle paper, buttons, bottle caps, and q-tips, etc. The birds really love them! Here is how they turned out.

Cozette the budgie's:

Mina the linnie's:

Oliver the parrotlet's:

What a great idea. I've been on the lookout for something like that too, now you've given me some ideas...thanks.

Cheers,

John.

Oh yes, she went through the whole thing yesterday. I just put it in the night before yesterday, LOL. So did my parrotlet. My budgie is still eyeing it for now, but she used to forage in a different tray in her old cage and loved it, so she just has to warm up to and realize there is millet in it, lol.

I bought this thing to put millet inside.

When they were young they liked it, but now they are too lazy to use it.
