Cage news

So, I found a black HQ flight cage on craigslist for $75....which is virtually half price when tax is included considering they usually sell for $140-$150 online. Typically I would prefer it in silver or white but for such a good price, I guess I could go with black.

For those that have this cage, what are the pros and cons? My plan is to either keep it until the end of the year in the garage and then introduce Oliver and Gemma to it at the same time-using the time between now and then to determine if they are compatible to live together and also bond with her before then. Or, put Oliver in it now and move her in later. Finally if they can never live together, move the parrotlets into the vision L01s that Mina and Cozette are in side by side and move the two girls into the HQ flight cage. What are your thoughts? Considering how large it is, I feel confident that if it didn't work out to where the plets could live together, Mina and Cozette would be fine in it. They hang out in each others' cages all of the time anyway.

Cage dimensions of HQ flight cage: 32w, 21d, 35tall. With stand it is 60 inches tall. The vision L01 is about 29w, 17d, 22tall for comparison.

Here are the links to the flight cage on amazons website and the craigslist:

What are your guys' thoughts?

That looks awesome. I hope they get along so that they can move into their new roomy cage.

Oliver wanted to be in Gemma's cage today. When I put her away, he went to her door. So I let him in and they have been in there for about an hour. Things are fine so it is looking up.

That's great! I must have missed the post where you decide on her name. I LOVE it! I think it suits her perfectly I hope they'll be able to be together in the flight cage, it sounds like it!
