I'm so excited!!!

So since my acrylic gym didn't come I talked to my Husband ALOT! Tried to tell him why Cricket needed a new cage. Poor little man flaps his wings as soon as he gets out. (too many toys taking up his space) So he finally said yes. We are getting the medium fan A and E cage from my safe bird store. Found a pretty good deal on it and I am so excited to get it. It will be a good week before it gets here i hope i can stand it! Until we get pics posted, mine is just like Jo Annes for Libby only in black. I am on my way to keeping up with the most spoiled bird ever! Its like getting a new house, i am already planning how to arrange things. Going camping this weekend so won't be able to post until sunday. Woooo Hoooo. Now I will be whining about waiting

OMG! OMG!!!!! Congratulations! I just KNOW both you AND Cricket will LOVE it! That BIG front door is wonderful, makes it so easy to clean!

Libby loves her cage! Even when the fan top is open, she'll go in and out and play inside, she's never frantic to get out, so I know she loves it! She uses every inch of the cage too, every single inch!

I know it's an expensive cage, but it's worth it! It's really heavy too - 113 lbs.! My husband put it together for me, with my assistance (a little). I moved Libby's old cage to a spot nearby so she could watch us putting it together. As soon as it was done, I started adding toys, food, water, etc. I opened the door of her old cage and the big door on the new cage and she made a beline for it! After that she supervised the toy placement efforts! Her HQ cage is now her sleeping cage, in Angelina's room, so it's still being used.

Be sure to post pics and let us know what you think, and what Cricket thinks!

I'm so happy for you! You'll have to give hubby some big "thank you" kisses!!!

That's such a lovely cage!! HUGE as well. Cricket will be very happy. The stand with the covered cabinet is quite nice for hiding and storing. Love it.

As I told Jo Anne before, I LOVE the big door on that cage. It's so nice.

I know, right?! I was so excited and didn't have time to post a pic so thanks Jo Anne. I ordered it in black. I seen it on a web page in black and just loved it. I have some rearranging of furniture to do before it gets here and lots of camping stuff to unload so gotta get to it.

WOOOOO HOOOOO today is the day, i checked the tracking and it is out for delivery. Should be here when i get home from work, or they may drop it off at work since they sometimes do that. Will post pics later today. Cricket will be glad to get out of his little camping cage he has been in. He has spent alot of time on the play gym so he can watch while we put it together, hope he likes his as much a libby likes hers.

YIPEE!!!! Bet today drags for you! LOL! The two boxes are big and HEAVY! If they are delivered at work, do you have someone to help you get them into the car (two men)? If at home, will it sit on the porch all day?

You see, I'm a worrier, and think about stuff like that!

me too jo anne

i left a note for him to set it in the house, so far he hasn't been here. I also asked my boss to tell him to leave it there if he stops while i am home for my noon hour. DH just had a shot in his shoulder at the dr today so i don't want to ask him to help. I told him i would open the box and take it out piece by piece to get it in the house if i have to. Ohhh the excitement has intensified! I will make it work no mater what! Bird people are the only ones who totally get it.

GREAT! It's 2:41 here, so you must almost be "outta there", since we're in the same time zone.

Have fun!
