i added some more branches to my trees they birds love it even more! Ace really loves chewing on the thin branches.

before the addition:

after!! this goes up the the ceiling more fun for the Cherubs

and just for the heck of it... lets take it way back to when the first tree was set up.... things have changed!!

and to take it WAAAYYYYY back.... when the first tree was cut. i still can't believe how this ended up to be what it is today

WOW what a set up, I'm sure your birds are loving this outdoor type adventure while they are indoors. I love it!

oh they love it!! right now the 6 boys have it all to themselves and the 2 hens are in another room (silly hormones ). they hens have a boing hanging from the ceiling, a small store bought gym (blah), and a foraging tray that i attached to the window. i have always found it funny because everyone says that their birds go back in their cage at night. mine have NEVER done this. once the hens were in the other room with their lame play areas, they DID go back in their cage at night, but won't do that if they are in my room on the trees. the boys also will not go back when its dark.... i guess it just goes to show their love for The Trees!

a recent and rare occasion (before the addition) where the hens and the boys got to spend the day together. it didn't last too long (a few days at the most) before Pickle -bottom green- started having an interest in the dark spaces in my room. sorry Pickle, time for you and cheerio to have an other few months of hen bonding in the other room!!
