There is a gal at the bird store buying a baby bourkes. She loves the bird, of course, and just wants to cuddle it the whole time she is visiting. I begged her to buy it some toys and start teaching it to play now. It is difficult to get most bourkes to play with toys, though our Stanley plays with all kinds of toys, but that is because we started her young. I'm glad to see CC got the idea. It's all up from here.

Thanks Shivani for the awesome siggy!

Nanay -- it's so true! I had no idea that a bird might not comprehend the concept of playing with toys, I sort of thought it was hardwired? But CC definitely showed me otherwise. I was so worried that she WASN'T playing that I took her to the vet, LOL. Probably good since she got a workup, but turns out she's fine anyway and just needed smaller toys!

hipeopleoftheworld -- hehe!! Thanks! I'm so proud of her!
