Cooling packs

Summer is here and if you have birds who don't like baths (like mine) then here's a tutorial for a cooling pack that you can use for them.
You will need:
- ice pack (or Freezer bag with ice in it) -Freezer bag
-Towel or other material to put in between the bag and cage
-Tape (or a needle and thread)
- clip
If you are sewing the favric together, make a spot which you can fit your clip in. Trace the pack and sew the material accordingly and leave a flap which will face away from the cage. Once you are done hang it on the side of the cage.

If your like me who needed a quick fix Place the pack in the freezer bag and put the bag ontop of a towel, fold the towel and tape it onto the bag till secure, pierce a hole in the bag and hang on the side of the bird cage. Use this when you are at home with your birds(s) so they don't get cold.

I'll post more once I sew a cooling pack.

I got this from the comment section of a blog
