My tiel aviary

Cockatiel aviary
over all dimensions 7'x4' x6'high
flight dimensions, 4'x4'x6',
internal house dimensions 3'x2'x3' high as its set above ground level.
Also some photo's of tiels for good measure!

Thanks, Shelly how cold does it get in Iowa?
We had -8 last year and a week or 2 of snow.
Rossco lives in Scotland, I think they had weeks of snow last year.
They're quite hardy.

I think birds that already come from that certain place just adapt to it, for instance, Harris' hawks are desert dwellers but mine sits out in the snow no problem

out door aviary

It stays too cold for too long here. It depends on the year but can be in the teens the better part of winter. And the wind chill is crazy sometimes. I don't think it would work. Wishful thinking..
